Vanille Continentale Collection

Fragrances based on Vanilla & European notes

At the beginning of the XVIth century during the conquest of the Americas, the Spanish discovered vanilla and brought it back to Europe to the Royal courts.

Elizabeth I, sovereign of England, introduced the subtle taste of vanilla into old culinary recipes. A little later, the Sun King, Louis XIV, fell in love with these scents and the first vanilla-based perfumes appeared at the French court.

In the XIXth century, perfumers became interested in the mystery of this exotic perfume, and began to introduce it into their perfume compositions to create fragrances with vanilla accords. From then on, vanilla fascinates with its subtle scents and its sweet touches which revive memories of childhood and happiness.

In its CONTINENTAL COLLECTION, La Maison de la Vanille combines the exoticism of Vanilla with the traditional scents of the old continent.
